Bathroom floor, wall and shower tiles, previewed together

Try 19 floor tiles and 17 wall tiles across the floor, walls and shower wall of a bathroom. Pair a matt floor with a glossy shower wall, or run one look throughout. Wet-area slip resistance is not verified for any floor tile here, so each one carries a note to confirm it.

Before you choose

Tile selection considerations for a bathroom

Points to check with your supplier and installer. The preview cannot answer them.

  1. Wet-area slip resistanceVerify

No floor tile in this preview has a verified slip rating. Confirm the rating against the standard that applies where you build before you specify a bathroom or shower floor.

  2. Water absorptionVerify

Ask for the water-absorption class of each tile you shortlist for wet areas. It is not listed for the demonstration products.

  3. Waterproofing comes first

Tiles and grout are not a waterproof layer. Showers and wet floors need a waterproofing system beneath the tiles, specified and installed by your contractor.

  4. Shower floors and falls

A shower floor laid to a fall is easier to form with smaller tiles. Discuss the format and the drain position with your installer before choosing.

  5. Grout and movement joints

Use grout and sealant suited to wet areas, with movement joints where walls meet floors and around the shower. Your installer specifies these.
