What to include
Approximate details are fine. The more we know at the start, the fewer rounds of questions — and the more useful our first reply.
Not sure about some of it? Say so. “Not sure” is a perfectly good answer at this stage.
- Product type and where it will be used (floor, wall, outdoor, commercial or residential)
- Sizes, finish and thickness — or a reference photo or product code
- Approximate quantity, in m² or containers
- Destination country and port
- Preferred Incoterm, if you have one (FOB, CIF and so on)
- Timing — when you need goods at destination
- Market requirements: standards, slip rating, documents, labelling
- Your company name, business type and contact details
